Introduction to the intrinsic link between consciousness and health of the body, through the words of Moshe Feldenkrais..
Excerpts from the book “La conscience du corps” by Mosché Feldenkrais (Editions Robert Laffont, 1971).
We act according to the image we have of ourselves. I eat, walk, think, observe and love according to how I feel about myself.
The image of self is composed of four data that participate in each of our activities: movement, sensation, feeling, and thinking.
In order to move, we must, consciously or not, use one of our senses and, in using it, we must necessarily feel and think.
The image we have of ourselves is much smaller than it could be.
