The small trace left on a surface, on a “skin”, is perhaps the most important thing there is.

I try to capture the organic movements of these tiny traces, which may be the source of life. Perhaps the image of a man’s face is hidden between the lines of the kaleidoscope as, it is believed, the trace of the face of Christ was printed on her funeral shroud.

Kaleidoscope offers a very “organic” vision. As a visual metaphor of cell division, it opens up a field of perceptions and emotions, far beyond the ornamental it might seem at first glance. This figure has always concerned me, I offer you cinematic explorations.
