Projection, in the framework of the Festival Pocket Films, of Triton, an experimental feature produced by Benoît Labourdette with phones.

Saturday, June 9, 2007, 2 pm, Cinema 2. Free admission.

Running Time: 1h04

Synopsis: A single and anonymous man among the anonymous evokes his difficulty in living in broad daylight in the shadow of the most disastrous hours of contemporary history. The shadowy memory of the Holocaust obscures the everyday life in which desperately seeks a lightness forever lost. From images and sounds, fragments of crowd and city harvested for two years, the author populates the big screen - a solemn scope format - of a multitude of passing vignettes on the ephemeral, capable of translating melancholy . Plastically, the test proposes finished compositions of multiscreen geometries which tend to synthesize propositions very usual by “pocket-filmeurs”.
