As part of the regular sessions of short films organized by Jean-Michel Frodon in Café 61 in Paris, screening as part of the meeting of Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 17h of the movie:
Café 61. 3 Rue de l’Oise, 75019 Paris.
Followed by a discussion session aperitif with Jean-Michel Frodon.
You are invited to discover, on the screen of 61 short films from around the world. Curiosities, premieres, and films that do not have access, for economic or political reasons, to conventional distribution channels.
Each month, the film critic Jean-Michel Frodon, assisted by accomplices at the four corners of the planet, selects for 61 a set of “different” movies, sometimes signed big names and sometimes unknown to discover, films often confined to their home country at alternative locations.
“Cinema 61” also is a place of encounters and exchanges around the cinema.
Jean-Michel Frodon is film journalist on Slate: http://blog.slate.fr/projection-publique
You will find here some traces of the diffusion of Benoît Labourdette’s films off the Internet: exhibitions, screenings, festivals... coming and past. Non-exhaustive list.
