As I approached this simple tree in the city that evening, little by little I felt the powerful energy of its sap, projected towards its highest branches. And it was a dance step, repeated, that came to me. And my gaze embraced it as it twirled, leading me to a feeling of unconditional love.

Because of the mechanical nature of its technical function, photography is for me a matter of time rather than a visual matter : in its silver salts, or its pixels today, it is time which is captured, preserved, reinvented at every glance. Time of life, time of vision, time of poetry.
