On 6 July 2026, at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the French national project for the future of audiovisual media in public libraries, led by the Ministry of Culture with Images en Bibliothèques and the CNC, held its final presentation day. As a member of the steering committee, Benoît Labourdette raised the question of the political meaning of libraries in their territories, and led a collective writing workshop: twelve participants wrote, in one afternoon, the first version of an advocacy document addressed to elected officials. Two accounts are online: The future of audiovisual media in libraries, an undertaking that is just beginning and An advocacy document written by twelve people in one afternoon. What the agency offers: Supporting cultural policies and Facilitating collective intelligence and cooperation dynamics.
