From 18 to 24 June 2026, the Centre culturel international de Cerisy-la-Salle hosted the symposium “Transformations of cultural policies”, directed by Jean-Paul Ollivier in partnership with the Cycle des Hautes Études de la Culture. Benoît Labourdette led a morning session on cultural mediation and, with Jean-François Marguerin, carried a reflective duo across the whole week: every morning, a synthesis of the previous day. As the discussions unfolded, he also built an online ABC of the words that sparked debate. Two accounts are online: What words do to cultural policy and « Careful, it’s slippery ». What the agency offers: Supporting cultural policies and Giving talks and lectures.
