A video workshop with autistic children at the André Boulloche day hospital

With CEREP-Phymentin and the AUTISMAGINE association, Paris, first half of 2026.

22 July 2026 Benoît Labourdette  2 min

Over several months, Benoît Labourdette led a video creation workshop at the André Boulloche day hospital for children (CEREP-Phymentin, Paris), which cares for children with autism spectrum disorders. The workshop was part of the research led by AUTISMAGINE, an association founded by psychiatrist Marie-Noëlle Clément on the place of images in the field of autism. Animated film, live shooting, sound, drawing: letting the children make images rather than showing them images, all the way to an exhibition in the hospital’s corridors. The session-by-session account, and the reflection on practice it opens, are online: Letting autistic children make images. What the agency offers: Creating participatory art projects and events and Creating arts and cultural education projects.
