DVD / Blu-ray

DVD (since 1997) and Blu-ray (since 2006), optical distribution media, are now obsolete. However, they still exist, and can still be used for certain purposes. Benoît Labourdette has been an expert in these technologies since they first appeared. Technical design, project management, encoding, authoring, to produce the most ergonomic media, with the best possible technical quality and the most efficient working methods. Nowadays, these technologies are hardly ever used, but the methodological and technical demands they make inspire good working methods for the design of [web platforms for video distribution>rub84?lang=en], for example. Another question that arises today is the perennial backup of DVDs and Blu-rays, for which we have developed methods.
