What to do with a pocket camera ?

Whether it’s a smartphone or a camera, either their own unit or that of the family, now almost all children and adolescents have access to a pocket camera. This course gives clues to the pocket camera a tool for education and socialization.

This article was written by UPOPI site team by taking educational resources that I had developed in the context of training for animators, Blois (France) in September 2014.

UPOPI : School Programs

The site Popular University Images proposes a section “School Programs”.

School Programs

Awareness courses for image education in 5 to 10 45-minute sessions with children from 3 to 10 years.

The aim of the course is to enable mediators (teachers, facilitators) to discover for children 3 to 10 years different facets of film and moving images. They can be an extra-curricular activity falling within the reform of education rhythms.
The courses are aimed at non-specialist mediators in the field of broadcasting. They are broken down into short learning sequences and do not require therefore equipment. Designed without reference to a specific age, they say, if any, sequences that are rather intended for a particular tranche. They may include some optional sessions for older children.
