A window is an opening. This opening is mainly considered in the architectural sense, but it is also psychological, symbolic, historical, rhetorical, financial, anatomical, computer-related... windows can be found in all areas of life. Moreover, it is quite possible that you are reading this text on a computer whose operating system is called “Windows”!
Since 2009, I have been proposing to many people to make films “By my window”, in the sense of an opening towards oneself and towards others, by sharing the sensible.
My work of artistic creation and mediation could be seen as a process of discovery and opening of windows, one’s own, for oneself and for others, in a double movement of mutual enrichment. The moving screenings, which opens windows in the walls of cities, are the most obvious incarnation of this.
